Our Instructors doing normal Hourly lessons cover around 15 miles of Crawley. However due to the amount of driving time spent
going to each pupil we cannot cover everywhere within this 15 mile area!
We regard punctuality very highly and understand that
pupils get upset if we are late. We always endeavour to run on time and will if possible text or ring you to advice your instructor
is running late.
It is for this reason that other then hourly lessons we offer a central meeting point for pupils who are using
our Intensive or Swift pass course's. We can collect you from either Crawley or Three Bridges Railway stations. This of
course also means that we can still manage to teach pupils from well outside our area.
If you live just outside the map area on the
right give us a call and we will see if we can fit you in.
This is a government-approved scheme, recommended once you have passed your driving test. The syllabus has been designed by the DSA to include all the areas in driving which you may not cover during normal driving lessons. One Way Driving Tuition pride ourselves on the fact that we teach more than just the driving test, we teach safe driving for life. We offer to all pupils that pass their test with us a substantial discount on our Pass Plus course. The course will be carried out according to the DSA syllabus, which includes ,Motorway driving, Driving in the dark & Fast country roads
The cost of the course is £165.00. For any pupil who has passed their practical test with us, and taken a minimum of 10 hours tuition, the fee is £85.00. Upon passing this course you will receive a Pass Plus certificate, which makes you eligible for a substantial discount on your car insurance.

Motorway Lessons
Driving on a Motorway differs from driving on ordinary roads in that traffic moves faster and puts a greater demand on a Drivers skill and overall awareness. In Sussex we have great motorway links so why not use them!
Although Motorways are statistically safer than other roads, when travelling at Motorway speeds a Driver needs to be more alert and be able to make safe and sensible decisions much earlier than on normal roads. A Motorway may have three, four or more lanes, and Drivers must be especially aware of the importance of their use and function.
To a newly qualified Driver the Motorway may appear daunting and beyond their capabilities but One Way Instructors are experts in this field and will build up your Motoring skills to the high standard necessary enabling you to drive on the Motorway with safety and confidence. Here is what we cover
- Condition of the Vehicle before Driving on a Motorway
- Condition of the Motorway, Weather and Volume of Traffic
- Motorway Signs and Signals
- Forward Planning and the Effective Judgement of Speed
- Joining the Motorway
- Leaving the Motorway
- Night Driving on a Motorway (Optional)
